A great way to reduce the cost of installing energy-efficient windows and doors is by making smart use of government incentives. At DreamKozijnen , we are happy to inform you about the Energiebespaarlening via the National Heat Fund and the ISDE subsidy via the RVO. This makes upgrading your home significantly more affordable.
Energiebespaarlening through the National Heat Fund
The energy-saving loan is a personal loan of up to €28,000 for homeowners with sufficient income. For loans up to €15,000, you can choose your repayment term: 7, 10, or 15 years (for higher amounts, up to 20 years). You can use this loan for multiple energy-saving improvements, such as new windows with HR+++ glazing and heat pumps.
Key benefits of the Energiebespaarlening:
- 0% Interest Rate: You pay no interest if your total taxable income is below €60,000 per year. (For higher incomes, an attractive interest rate of 3.60% to 4.05% applies – reference date: Jan 2025).
- Early Repayment Without Penalty: You can make unlimited additional repayments without penalty (minimum €250 per payment).
- Retroactive Application: For already completed measures, you can still apply for a loan up to 2 months after the completion date.
What do you need for your National Heat Fund application?
- A detailed quotation from us (your installer) for the energy-saving measures
- A completed contractor declaration form (available on the Heat Fund website) We specify exactly which insulation measures will be carried out
- Your latest tax return and most recent payslip
- Submit the application form on the Heat Fund website and upload the required documents.
Once your request is approved and the loan becomes final, you can send our invoice directly to the Heat Fund. They will pay us directly, so you do not need to pre-finance the amount yourself.
Applying for ISDE Subsidy via RVO (Up to 30% refund)
Through the Investment Subsidy for Sustainable Energy and Energy Saving (ISDE), you can receive a significant part of your investment back. You can apply for this subsidy within 24 months after installation of your windows and insulation glass (note: a minimum of 3 m² insulation is required).
If you implement more than one energy-saving measure, your subsidy amount will be doubled. For example: the standard subsidy for HR+++ (triple) glazing is €111 per m². Checklist: What do you need for the RVO subsidy application?
To start your application through DigiD on the RVO website you need the following documents. Don’t worry — DreamKozijnen ensures all technical details are correctly included on your invoice:
- Meldcode: The official registration code of the installed window profiles, doors, and high-performance glazing.
- Surface area: The exact number of m² of installed glass/window frames (excluding m² used for extensions or additions).
- Thermal performance (U-value): Proof that the materials meet strict insulation requirements.
- Photo evidence: Take clear photos before, during, and immediately after installation. Keep this carefully!
- Invoice & Proof of Payment: The final invoice including purchase and installation date, as well as our contact details.
